Blue: Everything I know about Dakota,
a workshop with Daviel Shy

Either that kind of saddness even cowgirls get
or the eyes of my friend
whose children, descendant from the morning sky
it takes to lift them.
A color
they say is true but only in rhyme

Bring me instead the lies:
A feast of fortune
to make knowledge reserved for fiction
and a stutter from our pain.
